planning - limitations

deadlines
i am giving myself the deadline of march the 26th because it's the end of Easter

For my blog i want these images to basically be in my blog
Image result for transverance music video children of bodom
I chose this image because the music videos lyrics are about self hate, and how she deems innocent yet is taken by death following the path of self harm into her own death. I chose this because not only is the song amazing but the song is very relatable and i fee as if others will be able to relate to this.
The pint with the image an video as to why I chose this to be in my blog is because as somebody who is undergoing these situations I found it hard to speak out about them and i know many others find it hard to speak about things too which is why I loved how a music video showed internal struggles and what it actually leads to which hopefully opens up more minds about mental health and struggling and helps other people to talk about it!
The lyrics are basically telling the story of the girl in the video who is becoming enslaved by evil thoughts as she hurts herself she finds release, she is wearing all white in the music video to convey her innocence "dragged in the light" emphasis on the drag meaning she is pulled somewhere she doesn't want to go, against her will, this song is evil; like our thoughts can be to our self.

Another image I wanted onto my blog was this image of dimmu borgir the serpentine offering
Image result for the serpentine offering

i wanted this to be on my blog because the image shows Crusaders Teutonic knights raiding a Lithuanian village slaughtering innocent people, the video is very heavily religion based and a the start of the video is opens with a screen showing the words
"what you believe to be true is false, what you thought right, wrong."
in the end the quote appears "the battle will never end"
I chose to add this to my blog because the conflict of religion and those who are born into a religious family who don't want to be apart of it anymore really channels me because in the video a priests assistant throws his cross onto the ground to reject his religion. This is internal conflict and though we may no be able to relate precisely there are people out there who maybe are confused by their faith and what to believe in and i want people to know there are people out there who can relate and they can also relate to not wanting to believe or have a faith.

this is a few examples of what i'll have on my blog. I want images of artists too and album art i linked my pinterest on my first post

music

I wanted to do a blog sincerely dedicated to Music, alternatively different types of bands that have music videos that are unorthodox, music videos with a striking yet different tone and appearance, I wanted the blog to be about disturbing intricate videos that people can't stomach because they're about internal suffering or problems, or metaphorical lyrics that have a much bigger meaning. The video's I will include on my blog are trigger warning, I love the aspect of unorthodox and how a music video can convey such feelings and meanings, how a music video can bleed the words I could never express.
I wanted arbitrary videos that are societies view on different.
My inspiration is from many bands, I like the aspect of being different and diverse. I'd rather be my own person than a copy of other people. My audience is obviously 16 and above because this topic isn't for sensitive immature people who still have trouble expressing their feelings.

transverance children of bodom
A powerful nordic metal song that highlights the beauty of internal conflict. The video offers a woman with her suffering so she releases it by harm, the type of metal that children of bodom produce is a nordic type of metal that is pretty heavy in comparison to 'generic' metal bands. Other types of nordic bands are amon amarth and ensiferum which are two popular nordic/viking type of metal. the video has a evil vibe to it, as the innocent 'sensitive' girl is face to face with death otherwise known as the grim reaper.
Their lyrics:
Looking at the blade
Aiming at my eyes
Staring to where the evil call my lies
Keep a promise
If you ever will…
Don't say a word just kill, kill, kill

basically convey that the girls thoughts are taking over her as she harms herself, she becomes addicted to pain, and hurting herself eventually she follows deaths footsteps. I like these lyrics because they turn from light to dark, as if innocence is destroyed.
also the lyrics:
Dragged in the light
Like nothing was wrong
Pulled towards where I don't belong
I hear the fallen angles
Sing my requiem

The lyrics are basically telling the story of the girl in the video who is becoming enslaved by evil thoughts as she hurts herself she finds release, she is wearing all white in the music video to convey her innocence "dragged in the light" emphasis on the drag meaning she is pulled somewhere she doesn't want to go, against her will, this song is evil; like our thoughts can be to our self.

Cradle of filth - Nymphetamine Fix
Cradle of filth are an all Gothic metal band and they have orthodox videos generally based around sex and drugs.

The video for Cradle of filths Nymphetamine fix allude's Macbeth with a female playing the male part featuring lesbianism being the complete polar opposite of what Macbeth really was.
The title of the song Nymphetamine perpetuates a combination of 'nymphet' a nymph, Greek maiden, a young beautiful woman. Nymphetamine being the marriage between sex & drugs; an addiction, to the same woman and to a lot of drugs.

planning

what is it going to be about? What kind of writing/topics will you be including in your blog?

my blog is going to be about music that is different and basically tackles struggles weather it's physical or mental which is why i wanted to highlight these types of music videos and lyrics because one I can relate and two because they inspire people to talk about things more and that's the best thing.
The topics I will be including in my blog will be:

   types of music
   context of the videos
why I like these videos(personal opinion)
pictures of the bands and music videos

The reason why I chose these topics is because I want a better understanding of my blog and I want to make it easier for people to relate to and enjoy. I also want my website to inspire people to be more open minded not only to a Gothic sub-culture that these music influences from.

i want my blog to be created on blogger because it's simple and easy to use, also I've used blogger before for my own assignments and for a more personal use of creating more bogs for the public and of course myself; i wouldn't use a site i'm not familiar with because i wouldn't feel comfortable with it.

I would share my blog on all my social media platforms so for example Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter because all my friends and family use these social media platforms and it would be easy to promote for people to find out about it and view my blog.

I'd mainly dominate my website at both Male and Female who would aim to be alternative and into the whole metal theme who would range age between 18-30 ranging interest from Metal, Gothic culture, internal struggles and problems that they face in the world and can relate to. I don't intend on people who love the colour pink to view my website because they wouldn't like it and I don't like pink so my blog will most likely be all black.
Stereo typically the people who might view my blog would most likely attend metal festivals, have tattoos, listen to lamb of god and have a undying love for turning their metal music on the loudest volume possible, oh and buy metal hammer magazines, drink The Trooper and Road crew because you're not alternative if you don't love some Pale ale browsing Instagram and Facebook a lot.
Obviously this is a big advantage of mine because I love Pale ale, I love surfing social media and I definitely LOVE lamb of god and any metal/alt festival! So all this information will be useful to promote my blog on these specific things as mostly all metal heads attend festivals and if they don't like lamb of god 1.) what are they doing?!!!!! and 2.) they most likely have heard of them! Id use all of this to my advantage anyway because i'd promote my blog featuring at least a few of these things lamb of god will definitely be on my blog as their song redneck tackles alcoholism which is an addiction.
